Staff & Officials

Members of the board of directors are elected from and by the members of the Credit Union. Directors serve without pay, serve terms of three years. They are required to attend monthly meetings, training sessions and seminars to keep abreast of changes in regulations.

The Board consists of nine members, each elected for three year terms.. Each year after the annual meeting, the Board elects a Chair, Vice-Chair, Treasurer and Secretary. The Board is responsible for setting Credit Union policy and directing the President.

The Directors come from varied backgrounds and interests. They share a common commitment to being good stewards of our Members financial interests thus ensuring the continued success of American Lake Credit Union. They are dedicated to ongoing education in the areas critical to their roles as volunteer Directors. The following are your current Board members:

Supervisory Committee
The committee's job is to insure that the member's funds are being handled in accordance with State and Federal regulations. The committee hires a CPA firm to audit the credit union and provide the board with an opinion audit each year. 

Members of the committee also perform other auditing tasks such as verifying closed accounts and activity on dormant accounts. Members of the committee are elected by the membership to serve 3 year terms.

The committee works closely with the examiners from the Division of Credit Unions during the annual exam. The members of the committee are:

The staff has over 100 years of combined experience working in credit unions. They are dedicated to providing you service and helping you achieve your financial goals. The following is a brief background on the staff of the credit union:

Kolin C. Mcmann – President/CEO

Kolin McMann has been proactive in the Credit Union movement for over a decade, having graduated in 2008 from Portland State University with a B.S. in business, emphasizing in Accounting. In 2013, he graduated from Western CUNA Management School, a three year comprehensive program specifically created for Credit Union professionals.

For the previous six years, Kolin has been harnessing his skills as a CEO and President, all the while maintaining the philosophy that members are the priority and driving force behind the Credit Union’s success. Embodying an ‘out of the box’ mentality allows him to remain a visionary in the field; a characteristic that serves as the catalyst for the longevity of the institution, services that are offered, and satisfaction of its members.

A firm believer in collaboration, Kolin also encourages the facilitation of group involvement amongst staff, volunteers and the Board of Directors. Adhering to these practices ensures that the infrastructure of the company is continuously flourishing, and that all needs and views are addressed.

In his spare time, Kolin enjoys a profusion of different activities– whether kayaking on the shimmering waters of Commencement Bay, trying unique cuisines at new restaurants, or donating his time to causes like Relay for Life and People United for Pets, he remains an active and well-rounded individual in his community. This enthusiastic demeanor is a reflection of the positive and promising contributions we can expect to see from Kolin McMann as the CEO of American Lake Credit Union.
